Easy solution is to implement what previous servers have had any excessive speeds results in the "code 1001" or whatever it was and kicks u from the server will sort out the speeders.

Again i rekon it comes down to the fact theres an income to be made running the server, the more people who play the more revenue thats gained, mass bannings loose money.

no it isn't falling on deaf ears at all, if you truly have a ping of 400 and dropping people you MUST be cheating, no two ways about it, you can't defy the laws of physics, yet according to you, you do every day.. sooner the server drops you the better, you're making the team look bad.

Taken from other cheat thread. Two things:- "Laws of physics" affecting the transmission of data packets. And 400ms people can NEVER kill other people.

I rest my case. RIP Dorf.

Slaya has always been fast, even on euro. Just knows how to tweak his pc.

Exact same thing told by Ultima, exact same thing told to his friends, exact same disappointment when they realised he'd been cheating since the start.

I must say though, since Ultima and a few speed cheaters have been banned, the few "dodgey people" have all of a sudden stopped being super fast. At least around me. Probably scared I'll start recording them again, lol.

Just to clarify, you think that if somebody is fast on one server, they should and/or wouldnt be on another server?

You obviously have little idea of how the mechanics of the game work, and that its quite easy to adapt any system to run it alot faster. Hence your "omfg must be speeders" argument.

Most legitimately fast players these days have at once upon a time spent hours and hours adjusting their settings to optimize their speed for Mir only. Iv done it myself.

You seem adamant that anyone fast must be cheating. You are wrong.

If my sign off makes you feel uncomfortable, then it is most likely you that is a freak.

For anyone wondering, someone from another country using a program such as WTFast to use local servers to the gaming host, can expect to see increases of speed even up to the speed cap. Some ISP's across the waters (America for example) already do this if you're paying for it.

Avatar got banned for cheating. He did not get banned for being a mouthy prick - so remember, even if he's stopped cheating, he'll still remain who he is and most people will still dislike him.

Just because someone is fast in-game doesn't mean they are cheating. I know people from America, who are family working people (not a clue what to do with computers) who are exactly the same speed as me in-game despite my best efforts to tweak myself further. It would seem the speed cap is working on this server. Remember, if you're not at the speed cap but fighting someone who is, they can and will look like they're cheating to you when in fact they are not.

the speed cap is where the problem is. im at the speed cap 100% of the time, never get a fps drop. yet theres various people who can out run certain mobs and me.

cheats are still in game its known just they are being over looked/ignored. and the cheaters are being careful using them when its a small fight or dont fight at all when its a know person who likes to record fights

easy way to spot them are the 1's who can out run numerous archers in bdd/zt bone archer in psc and darks in wt, then use the excuse that they have tiger neck on when in fact tiger neck has no effect on archer/bone archer/darks attacks as you need ac to negate them.

any 1 in the uk using wtfast will see little or no benefit from it. ive only advised people from longer distances to use it to help bring their ping up

However remember warriors have a much easier time outrunning the ranged mobs on here due to Shoulder Dash. Agree though that there are people who are "closet-cheating" and will only turn them on at specific times, but then all it takes is one slip-up and they're gone. Wouldn't you hate to play like that? constantly careful of your actions. Boggles the mind really.

I've said it before and said it again. Noticing large disparities in speed over a great distance of time is the way to catch cheaters out. If one week they're super quick, next week back to "normal", you've probably just witnessed them using said cheat. If they're simply "turning it on" when they need to in PK's, I urge you to start recording them.

while i would record them i dont actually play and havent done for a while now, most of the posts you get from this account that relate to gameplay will be rick. but that should be limited soon as i have need for my pc for other projects and work.

Lol? Since when your guild can kill anyone, unless they are making you red or it's a lvl 30 against 10 lvl 43+s?

Try harder, people still won't believe you though i'm afraid. Expecially when you make cry threads everyday.

Add.1 Just to add to the "speed cap" fire, being at 60fps minimum on these files is just the start, as it will only prevents graphic slowdowns. You are by no means at the speed cap at 60 fps, mainly because on mir there's no such thing.

Add.2 If you ever run along a warrior thats lvling, you will notice the first few hits on the mob will look like a speed+4 and will normalize as more hits go in. This is because hit detection seems to be managed client side, so when i hit something the server will have to catch up and then the other clients will have to update from the server. This is 2 hops and massive latency. On euro hit detection was fully server side, and for example you wouldnt be able to sdash people as easily as you can here or hit them as easily when they're in the surroundings.

So ye, mainly the fighting system is broken, or if it isnt it is so clunky and unresponsive it feels broken. And this comes from someone that has no issues killing players.

while i appricated you think im fire im actually not, as stated in my previous post 2ndly, i was 1 of the faster players on ace m2v1, and chances that the main game engine has changed to a extent i should still be in line with the faster players.

also can you confirm that the attack detection is client side because if this is there is major concern for potential exploitation

I wasn't referring to character names with "fire".

I can't confirm anything, I can only base judgement on how it feels. Going mir2 > chronicles is a bit like going BF2/3 > BF4. A massive "why fix whats not broken" experience.
