Made no difference to my ingame speed when I installed one, though wasn't slow beforehand. The quick boot up is handy, but you never turn your pc off so won't be an issue x

Yeah agreed with older mir files it will make little difference but for chronicles it seems to make a wedge of difference, if your only just installing it could be a good opportunity to do a before and after video [emoji4]

Unfortunately all i have is my word of any improvement.. but ao far through the installation i cant keep up with how fast my computer is now responding.. its fking INSANELY fast. Just running updates and ill be on asap to see if its made a difference.

Whilst you should certainly buy one now they're so cheap, an SSD will not improve mir performance. It will not improve your fps. It will not make you faster.

Any new HDD will run Mir just as well as any new SSD. If you saw an improvement from upgrading to a SSD, your old HDD was probably pretty crap :)

Also, for Clintus above, no, it wont make any difference.

This probably explains why I saw an improvement.

I know its not worth much but the "Windows Experience Index" scoring system gave my 7.8 or 7.9/7.9 on all components aside from my HDD that was scoring 5.6
The SSD now scores 7.9 giving my overall system a score of 7.8/7.9.

Even with the improvements I was still slower than a lot of people.
I believe I have solved my speed issues and "should" be at the speed my system and ping can actually manage instead of 4-5 frames slower.
Will soon see.
