This is a splash screen for mine and my mates site which may soon be going into development.

Dont worry mate, I'm hopeless at HTML aswell. If I get round to it, it'll only be a simple site with a flashy design. Going to use it as a portfolio for my design work.

It might look easy, but those buttons were hideous to perfect, and a splash screen doesn't need to be all-out, keep it simple ;)

Don't spose anyone has a descent guide to DreamWeaver? so i can print my layout onto a site?

maybe he hasn't used it before? just because you find it easy doesn't mean other people will its actually a pretty **** program in my opinion (sorry for the spam on ur thread Wittin mate but i had 2)

didn't really tell me how to apply a .psd weblayout -.-

thats really quite nice m8, cud do with alittle touching up i think on the sub text that explains the two sites on it but apart for that its really nice :)

btw gl finding a dreamweaver guide, dont think there ever was a full on guide for the program as its so large it would take along time to complete one.

Haha im still loving ur work imo 10/10 full marks ^^ lovin the background as the splash goes with it. Keep it up man u should get a proper designer job ^^

If you want a simple site can i suggest microsoft frontpage. Basically you drag and drop all you graphics and writting where you want it. Click a button and it turns the page you've made into html.

Sorta like paint ^^

Updated, was .co.uk not .com - my bad :D

also added a sort of boarder and played about with the placement a little more

Move the click here stuff down a bit and left a tiny bit, then put the left of the text in line with the top box should look cleaner :)
