When i create database, and then try to restore the mir2 database it won't let me (ive tryed forcing the process ect) ive done this process b4 and its worked but now its saying "to many databases can only have 64" or something ne ideas guys?

did u have any sql dbs for mir allready for any set of files including 2.3 and these new ones, if you did then the 2.3 db is the same u can just use that one . if not then i cant help sorry, my brain aches and my head hurts and cant think straight atm :(
having said that if you do a search im 10000000% certain u will come across that error and its conclusion many many times .

ive bee searching for loads of DB's cant seem to find any, ty for help m8


ill ask around for db's but every1s being tight :P

if the error u are getting is:
Too many backup devices specified for backup or restore; only 64 are allowed..

then in this case is because u are using sql 2000 and u are restoring the wrong db file.. u must download the 2.3 server files and in the dbserver u will have mir2(restorethis) which is for sql 2005 and u will have mir2sql2000backup also in dbserver and this is for sql 2000.. try restoring that and u will not get the error..

BTW this is a very stupid problem that wont happen if u read with attention the mir setup guide..
