state of server usercount

ok so user count dropping like a lead balloon 3 main reasons for this as i see it


1) Griefers/Cheaters basically doing what they want when they want.


2) People standing in sz shouting accusations of corrupt gms also being biased toward 1 guild
threatening and verbally attacking anyone who dares challenge them


3) The new content (dont think im the only 1 thinks this) but epic fail.
the drops in the new maps (that all can go to) are quite simply awful.
Then theres the level capped cave taking away the freedom of choice
is also a major miscalculation on teams part


this isnt a moan thread either its my opinion i quite like playing the server
but the way its going bearing in mind new servers are in pipeline this server
could be gone soon

Nothing has been changed on the server in 2 weeks(since last reboot) so I do not have a clue where the fake ETs came from. You need a reboot the change spawns and there has not been one.

This might sound crazy to people but my real job comes first and that has been busy so server has not been touched.

Everybody loves loot :P that's why I find high rates more fun.

As FTM said, people waited this long for content and it was a huge disappointment. The only servers I've seen work when adding content have been high rates, the server owner knows that content has to be added reasonably fast to keep players active, so they make sure to add it. Low rate server they just leave it as long as they can too add content because most of what's already there can last for a few months.

I keep trying to return, but there is nothing special that makes me stay I would rather play a server on old outdated files that adds loads of new content than play a server in a great set of files with not much new content(that's actually good content).

new content is great when we can access it and get something better from it than the older content.

as much as new content is good its still just kill this kill that, gem this, refine that (ofcourse ive never seen this used on more than one other private server so thats great). refine is something i cant do without running 3 windows ( for miners ) or completely ruining my fun by cashing. its just to expensive. nothing on this game is free - apart from entry into caves (oh **** ive given you another idea for a gold sink lol).

killing things is great but not when it is the same as it has always been... flamingsword and TDB spam. new skills thats what i want. and its the reason i have stuck around because "they are coming". whether it be too late is another question.

the one thing i am looking forward to now is collecting stuff so we can use skills without finding the books. this is a great idea but it doesnt seem to have moved from just a thought. "the new mobs need better, newer skills to be hunted" im sure samuel said that lol.

The new update was a disappointment only 10 people at the most can use the 'better part of the update...

As for evil tongs there are fake ones on every floor but the KR what is totally stupid.

Server was better at the start its a non stop downhill fall from then..

Quests are boring aswell and not worth doing for 40-50k exp and 60k gold.

You can agree or disagree but i think its definitely went downhill from a players prospective / mine.

Drops and Exp has been kinda sucky in most of the caves best place for exp is that overly packed archer room.

Yes i know only two people work on the server whats wrong with getting some people to help or ask for a new team member or two before things hit a dead end..

here an idea! move the character DB over to Acem2 old files then you wont have to do **** all since that server was alot more fun and 90% of the **** seemed to be already done! no gay changes to revert!

there would be SO many pluses to doing it! ive tried and tried and ****ing tried to play this server but its just not fun! you upped the HP on bosses like EC and WT, easy to solo bosses and made them so you cant solo them as easy, id say its a fair change if the change was worth the reward and it isnt!

Orc collo was changed from being the only boss that drops so now only EM drops! the novelty of a new team member changing the drops has worn off! time for a new trick to excite us!

get sombody who plays the server on your team! then you know what to change :P

im not crying for easy drops im crying for me wasting my time klling them! killing a dark devil with just a tao for a red flower bracelet, a set that is broken still and its dropping from dark devil! delete the set if you dont want to fix it!

theres not even a power ring or any item of that level dropping enough from bosses! new items are coming but who cares? does it actualy look like they will ****ing drop to cause excitement? -.- old skool items are rare enough never mind these new items coming!


and i reported the red flower set as broken babyshack and you said you would fix it, i sent you another PM about it and you responded saying its not broken, when it still it..... so why should i bother reporting stuff? -.-


and you may not make money from the server but sombody is! people are subscribing and are being ignored -.-


the new 5 heroes server mite be a quick money grab server but i bet atleast is alot of ****ing fun and worth playing while it lasts, not this slow unrewarding torture!

i do honestly feel bad for you taking all this on board.. and i know its part of your job.. but maybe you guys should look for some help as it does seem to not be working well with only two people working...

i actually enjoyed the start of the server after not being a mir2 player thought ahh mir2 is actually good until a month or two ago when things became sluggish and i can understand all the posts about balance and all that but i think content and exp and drops need sorted maybe you should hire someone who can do cheating part while you guys crack on with what you are doing.

I had always been know that this is a part time hobby project.

I reply to 90+% of the post here, the PMs the Facebook messages and the Facebook PMs so I do not understand where you think people are being ignored, you may also notice on the bottom if every thread that I have look at 99% of them.

Your red flower stat error, I'm sorry but fixing a single stat on a random item is not at the top out the list. I said it would be fixed and it will be.

There is a new drop system going in game for the next reboot so that some high end bosses will drop at least 1 item, but again this is a long term server regardless of user count, you all say you want items but then when items start dropping players moan that the price of items have dropped to much.

I someone who players the server joins the team, players will moan about this, we all know this is never a good idea, and do not say I was a player and all that rubbish again. I do not and never will be friends with any of you lot in real life, might be hard to hear but you are all just pixels to me.

ACEM2 failed for a reason and we will not be returning to that.

The next reboot will change the exp cap, add a new system to drops, adjust some spells (ninja boost) and fix a number of envir bugs.

it had the same user count as this when it was "closed" by Sam, with lots of promise of the wonders to come, all wrapped up in a "care package".
Sam was a player on fourheroes too, he must have an idea of how to make this a "fun" server.
We rant and moan coz we want this to work!

I actually preferred ACE, and the only reason being is that levelling was quicker.
