Back to the drawing board... I know this is frustrating for you ... Its heart breaking for us.

No rewinds planned.

I am going to pull the latest set of binaries... The event should still be going as it didn't rely on anything that has been added to the files...

Right,reverted the binaries... I am going to upload the matching client again... If this fails I am going to be forced to take the server down over Christmas until I have time to work on it again ... Really have hit the very worst case scenario here.

Just sack it off Sam. Seriously people i think now just want to play the game, no double exp, no double drops, no event. Because lets face it its just not working lol, I personally couldnt care less about the event if i cant even log ingame anyway :/ I know you have spent alot of time on it but its really not worth it anymore. :/

If it still crashes, roll the server files back to before yesterdays update so at least the game is still available. This would be better than it not being up at all over the christmas period from a business perspective.

All this talk if 'just cancel the event and let us play'. I get the distinct feeling it is nothing to do with the event directly that is causing it, and more to do with changes recently implemented to the files and their connection to the DBs.

Now is a good time to do what you should around xmas, and spend time with family and friends. This is only a game at the end of the day - Sam and the team need to also remember this - and go get pissed.
