I was absoloutely shocked when i heard the news this morning off my GF i was like what no way, but i knew it was gonna happen one day just didn't think it would of been an animal such as a Stingray .

I was just watching his program yesterday my heart jus dropped when i heard the news he was a rolemodel of mine sad to see him go

R.I.P Mr Irwin. I saw it this morning on...well...This Morning and thought it was a joke cos the fat woman said it and I don't trust her.

Tis such a shame, and it was really sad to hear that he's left 2 children behind now along with his wife =[ Poor children.

well i dno wher to start at 6:00am this morning dad woke me up n sed "Steve Irwins died......" i was well shocked, i was ment to be getting up at 6 thats y he told me but for some reason i just dropped staight to my bed again and went to sleep as soon as he told me. He was the best for tv programmes like that. All thoughts to his family. I think i read somewhere that his daughter was with him at the place?

They have been playing his episodes and things on animal planet I don't know if you ukers get it. Sad indeed. He was a good guy rescued a lost diver, just wanted to save the animals.

it was a shame for him to go an he was a gr8 guy i used to watch his programs all day long bc they amazed me at how he could do it with out beeing caught by a animal.

well a man we all loved, died of what he loved and was best at doing! We all respect him and always will, that video is a good thing to watch.

On news this morning they watched the thing they filmed and said that steve was sruggling to get the barbed thing out of him.

Yeah we get Animal Planet i've been watching it the past hour or so the tribute video almost brought a tear to my eye he was such a huge hero to me (don't ask).
