Stick the auto populating

I log on and go hunting and press quick slots as I am used to and I get F teleported out because you ^&*() with the slots being auto something. Make them passive and keep what pple put in them in some ini or whatever. But stick that auto feed new picked up pots up where sun don't shine and keep what I put in them in place where I put them. That means if I put DE in slot 6, keep it in slot 6 through reloging or if you can't do it, don't disconnect us so fast from the login screen at least!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now I took TT from storage and can't get it out of my quickslots WTF is with that!!! :@: :@: :@::@::@::@:

to get it out of your slot, pick it up from the slot and click as if you were dropping it on the floor. If you try and move it to another space in your bag though, its going back into a slot again so you will have to repeat the process.

That's weird, up to now I was removing from slots (pots and I believe also scrolls) by dropping items into bag. Will try dropping on the floor as if throwing away.

But this auto filling slots and no memory through gaming sessions is galling. If the game can remember items in slots, can't it also remember which number of slot they were in? And putting in items automatically is stupid, like you have a free slot and pick up pot or scroll that you don't yet have in bag and its the first one, it goes automatically into one of the available empty slot. I plain hate it. I suppose I am not alone who has preferred slot filling so you can squeeze off what you need semi-automatically, it differs as I gain levels and don't use HP med pots anymore, for example, now I have 1-HP 2-Sun 3-SunM 4-MP 5-RT 6-DE and if I leave MP slot 4 empty and I get TT dropped and pick it up, it goes where MP should be, and next time I pick up my first MP, it can't go into slot or not to slot 4 - AND I F don't want it to go there anyway!! If I want it there, I put in there... auto populating quick slots is F STUPID!!!! GET RID OFF IT !!!!

If you pick up from your slot and drop on the floor the item doesn't get dropped from your bag, it just disapears from the slot. If you pick up from your bag and click ont he floor the item will then get dropped.

I agree, if you log out... the position of all the items in your bag should stay as they are. There's nothing annoying than having an OCD probably where you just HAVE to have your TT in the bottom left of your bag, followed by scrolls and sunpots... and having your main mp/hp pots on the first line up the top of your bag. Annoying when you log off and back in again your bag is a complete mess! lol

Drop on floor removes from quick slot but as soon as i pick up any item that can be put into the slots and even if its already there, the TT feeds in again automatically if there is an empty slot.

I may have to buy small mp hp pot to put in slots to keep them filled up, how stupid is that? I don't always or hardly ever look what I have in which slot because I know that beforehand. If the slots are self-feeding it defeats their purpose because I might as well click pots in my bag (if I sacrifice the keyboard shortcuts) if I don't have control over what is in which slot at all times.

I'd like to have the slot populating with items you pick up disabled.

Otherwise I think the bag now keeps arranged even through quitting mir completely and login back in, at least I didn't notice it doesn't. It used to loose sorting on euro mir and was pain to maintain order if you're one of those orderly pple o.o

for the record i will be (eventualy ) fixing this but for now it's not super bad i hope.
i need to fix it so it only adds to slots when it's a new item from pickup/buying( atm the client doesnt know the difference, so when you relog etc everythings new

it does save the slot positions and bag positions on logout tho (just fills empty slots on relog )

That's great, and yes I can get by playing with it when I know it will be looked at after more important things are done. You have to bear with me if I put it maybe too strongly, at the back of my thinking are those many years when asking for something to be done was never done (on official servers) even if plainly doing that was within the realm of possibility...

You have too many good features on this mir and it would be pity not to tune it up to perfection, in due time of course.

Just to be clear what is the main issue - for example I have RTs in slot #5 (#6 always DE) and all other slots are filled with various pots HP, Sun, SunM, MP...) but not TT which I carry in bag. If at some point you use up all RTs, the slot is then left empty and next, as soon as you pick up something from the ground, like HP pot that you already have in slot #1, that TT in your bag suddenly puts itself into that empty slot where RTs used to be. And if you remove it by dragging like you want to drop it on the ground, it slots itself back in next time you pick up some other item that you already have in quick slots - unless you don;'t have it there in which case it fills that one last empty slot and TT can't go there.

So if you don't want that TT in quick slots, you need to keep them full with something all the time. Otherwise if you get under pressure and panic a little somewhere and press that #5 slot without looking, you're liable to TT without ever wanting to do that, it messes up your hunt.

Edit: funny thing is, today on loging in it doesn't feed the TT into empty slot like it stubbornly did last night, go figure.

Edit 2: today, Saturday I logged in and even my quick slots were filled in the same order like last night, hope its not just a fluke. It is 11.30 GMT and I suppose still before scheduled noon reboot that is supposed to bring in some fixes.
