did you try switching lines? :p i think it's your pc/software that's causing the issue not the line

Try what thedeath said

This is not an easy issue to track down and may not even be related to the server as it effects so few people

The team will keep working on it
Just to help out can you try your account on your brothers system and see if you disconnect there

Update,

Reinstalled MIR logged in Lagged out inside 2 mins, another guild member has reinstalled tis morning too and lagged out at same time. We both logged back in within second of each other saying reinstall didn't work.

Got Dawg to lvl 7 and then lagged out again.

This started happening on Wednesday, I have not downloaded anything to pc, updated anything in PC its exactly the same as it was on Tuesday.

For the record lots of people are lagging out. 20 plus people have reported his with 200 on at a time that's 10% being effected, I have no suggestions to help nor have any clue how to make his playable now.

Off to find a Steam game for the weekend as tis is now unplayable.

It's not account related it seems more ike that the server is kicking people from countries or people from certain zones and I didn't have any issues till easter event got patched away. I don't know what was changed but something was changed for the worse

Not sure if you've seen my text but if you can find my long cable you can plug it in to my router and in to your PC

When the easter event was taken I noticed the time changed to bst for a day and has now gone back to gmt. Maybe this change triggered the issue that was seen at the birth of the server with people needing to change timezone settings

I'll assume your connections are Virgin Media if so try:

Start > cmd > "ping bbc.co.uk -t"

Keep it running for 5-10mins and see if your connection is consistent, my brother had this same issue for the past couple of days and complained at me until I checked it out, seems his vm connection is ranging from 16-18ms to periods of 500-800ms every 5 minutes or so, this sort of fluctuation would cause 2 step / stutter / disconnects.

If this is the same story for you then maybe VM have released a bodged firmware package for there routers (would explain why people near by aren't affected as they could be using different routers)

Or, your connections fine & Chronicles has some unknown issue.

Yes I had the same issues, reason being is they test the line for 48hours to see what it can handle, so the connection will fluctuate from say 100mb to 5mb depending on which package you go for.

But like I said iv been with virgin for about 9months now 100mb connection, I started getting the lagouts etc on Saturday, I called them, told them my issues, they connected to my hub, done some tests etc and told me all should be fine now, and after that restarted the hub and haven't has an issue since.

Cheers Blank and Deano, definitely a route to follow pardon the pun!

I am using tash's connection atm, 2 freezes since plugging in but nothing like I had been experiencing.

VM will be next step, cross fingers.

Thank you
