Hi guys, i have a problem, when I make my resolution high, 1700+ x somehting else + my computer starts to make a high pitched sound, and doesnt stop, this only happens sometimes

The GFX card would far outdo the monitor in terms of refreshrate/resolution.

I get the same thing on one of my monitors. It appears to be the sign of a malfunction.

I think you're right guys, I just read up about my monitors, max resolution it says is 1280x1024, the resolution i set it to is always above that :x
