Stuck 2.3

[WKD2005]

okay i downloaded mirserver files for 2.3
i installed sql properly i hope using a guide(im on vista)
i changed all config/setup files to 127.0.0.1
and to say sa , sa username / pass
and so that the db says mir 2

everything runs fine but when i go to log in on the character the notice(ok box thing) doesnt come up just a black screen after character and when i look in DBServer it says SQL Keep/Alive anyone know how i fix this ?;(

well if i remeber well could be from 2 things ...
- if you have vista need to use msql 2005
- or you put wrong an ip / name ...

all ip's are set to 127.0.0.1 and i used the vista guy idiot proof thingy downloaded//installed everything said

I still haven't found a solution to this problem, i've tried everything =\
However, if i get it to work i shall try to give you some help
