Thanx for the help with the m2server.................i got my m2server working so now all my files work but...............................i have to install db commander to do trhis thingy but i cant install it.......it comes up this is not a valid win32 application...........i aint no computer wizz so any help would be aprciated...........i asked a friend about it and he said it coz my windows 2000 and xp run on ntfs and db commander requires dos which is windows 98 is there anything else that i could do, instead of having to reformat my whole operating system.......................

nah it has nothing to do with file systems. db commander is a win32 app not dos

try redownloading the setup. it might be corrupt

one other question i'm planning on running mir offline on a seprate computer that isnt linked to the net........thius requires me to copy the db commander to a floppy or disc.........will this affect the installing process aswell..............

no, not if db commander fits on 1 floppy disk, although if you are running a server on another computer, im asuming it is networked with your computer so you can connect to it. If so, why are you using floppy's? why not send it accross the network?

Did you download DB Commander from www.fernys.co.uk if so that one dosent work :P
If you want a working one go to http://www.leocrasher.co.uk/ Then to Mir 2 Filedownload on the left, then Mir2 Server Releated Files, and you should be able to see DB commander there.

MY COMP IS ON SERVER PUT HUB BLEW OUT LAST WEEK SO I HAVE TO TRANSFER EVERYTHING FLOPPY'S AND DISC :(
