[Summary]
See below for changes and updates to bosses.
While these changes aren't final these are the current state (we welcome feedback and recommendations on anything)
*note, all bosses are completely new like the rest of the mobs in game*
General
Every cave has a minimum of one Boss.
Every cave has SubBosses spanning across each floor - generally excluding 1f.
We've added a Guaranteed Drop mechanic.
*This allows us to always guarantee at least 1 item from a set list will drop (this doesn't interfere with regular drops/drop rates)
*This doesn't mean the best items will always drop, but something such as a gem, qual orb or other item will always be present, so you aren't getting nothing for your efforts.
Bosses/Mobs Level
*We've branched the mob lvling mechanic from our code to include bosses (will be splitting the rates at a later date) - so sub/bosses can spawn more frequent than mobs as a legendary
*lvl 1-5 have the same drop file as the existing base, with better rates but enhanced stats (% rate)
*lvl 6 mobs have their own custom file (will be minimum 1 tier above the area for drops, so say a jmace is the top item drop, it'd then be a WSB+)
*lvl 7 mob have their own custom file (will be a minimum of 2 tiers above + huge gold/exp drop chances
*Legendary boss spawns are announced globally.
Evolution System
Main Bosses have a chance to evolve.
When a boss evolves it will come back imbued with a partial Primordial power (depending on the boss prefix, will depend what buffs it has)
When the partial primordial imbued boss dies, it can spawn as its true form (has all the enhancements of all the prefixes)
These are part of the Boss Lvling system.
*These bosses are rare but high value to kill as they will always have the chance to drop the 'end game' items.
*These will not be soloable (but not the only source) of the end game items.
Global Bosses
Similar to your Lords and such, these bosses have a very specific time of day / days they spawn.
Hidden Bosses
Some bosses will only spawn with hidden conditions (you will have to find out what these are in game)
