first of all, i know this is wrong. but theres a website template i REALLY like. im just wondering how you go about copying the entire page.

its done in asp, and has a flash header. normal you can just go on the pages source and download the .swf, but this game doesnt have that. so it got me confused.

You could try using BlackWidow to rip the site then mod to your own design using Sothink SWF Compiler(not sure on that) along with an html editor?

thanks, jus tried black widow. but the only file it actually downloads from the site is 1 .asp file containing an image which is on the site.

ive pasted the entire page onto photoshop and cut out the images for html use. so got a nice looking page now, just trying to get the 2 text boxes to fix in propperly without messing up the image placements. getting annoying.

you using tables in photoshop then slicing? or you could get the fansite kit and rebuild from css + html?

yeah im slicing in photoshop atm. dont really know much about html/css so thought it wld be the easier way.

that fankit is in there. i've yet to try a program with photoshop called sitegrinder, does all the css + html for you. bad thing is its only a trial

yeah, it's pretty good. I don't think CS4 currently works with sitegrinder, I know it works with CS2(well working on mine lol)

the new sitegrinder 2.10 works with cs4, but i cant find a full version of that.

ive got sitegrinder 2.08, which doesnt work with cs4. im just downloading cs3 and hoping it will work with that. and also hoping it is the full sitegrinder and not just a demo :/

its almost worth paying £65 for.

have you used it for long? i want to be able to make a site, and convert it to php later on so i can use more features such as logins and connecting to a database.

ive also heard that the full version will only work with a genuine copy of photoshop. is this true?

i think that i have the file u want off the site btw, i will upload it, but it says u need java script to open it as its a jsp file. i currently dnt have javascript installed no more lol ><

I've used photoshop for a while, just stuck to CS2 though. Only just found sitegrinder the other day, you tried looking for sitegrinder on torrent sites?

As for the full version working with a genuine copy of photoshop, I'm not too sure on that. You can technically get a serial key via keygen and an activation key for photoshop making it look like a genuine copy, don't see why Sitegrinder wouldn't work.

As for the JS above, you should be able to open within notepad then just extract the url to the swf and save. Sothink SWF Downloader for firefox is free but I havent been able to get it working with 3.0.3. It works in IE supposedly but haven't tried that yet.

the problem with the flash file is its not an swf file, its a js file. which i dont know how to read. not that bothered about the flash anyway, as id be making my own.

for a JS file, download java off a torrent site, i will get java later and have a look at the file i can get off there and see if its one of them.

the closest i can find is http://iro.ragnarokonline.com/image/index_menu.swf this gives just the menu thats over the pic. you will need to add ur own background to the file. hope i managed to grab enuf ^_^ lol, i just tested and got it working, but not much knowlege on flash so the rest down to u if u still want it m8

if u wana look into it your self a bit more download Microsoft Visual J# 2005 off MSDN's website, make sure u only get J# ad not c++ or C or the rest (unless u want them obviously) as most websites use java now, this might come in use ful for u, it was 60mb download file so its not massive and wont take up alot of room if ur not using it.
