Sorry guys been rushed off my feet with work and the community site I'm working on, will try to get all your requests done tonight.
The controller is indeed a 3d render, Jake's a real life bud and he knows how long a detailed vector piece can take me... I find signatures more of a positining and use of colour game, rather than ability to use software.
To make an image "come out" of a signature you need to create a bigger canvas, as Wittin has stated... once you've done what he said you save it as a .png (bare in mind for people using versions of IE lower than 7 it will not be transparent).
