Taming mobs.

Ok so i'm using the Electric Shock spell in my server because i think it's got abit lost.

But, problems i'm having at the moment is either, it takes absolutely ages to tame. Or they are not taming at all.

I have a mob Level 39, and i have set the CanTame tbl to True. I put myself lvl 40 and i had no joy. So i put myself lvl to 65565 with 5000mc and still no joy. Is their something i should be doing?

i fort u had to be like 10 levels higher than the mob ?

Well i've just tamed a mob that is lvl 42, but i was level 65k with 5000mc, so it's working. But it would be nice to know how many levels above each mob you need to be to be able to tame. and anything else i need to know.

i fort it was always 1 level above? or 2?

in your setup.txt try changeing MagTammingTargetHPRate to 32767

can tame at 53+

can rep at 56

its 3 levels below rep...

higher ur lvl better it works

I think it has something to do with the amount of HP the mob has, if it has more than the setting than you wont be able to tame it. I was having the same problem and did find a thread on here about it (cant find it now) once I changed that setting it worked fine.

i got a mob lvl 15 can tame at 16 and repel =]
