tao pets increase in damage as you do

The more SC we have, the more our pets do. Pet's are pretty dire on here.

Skele is terrible but meh its low lvl spell you can just unbind when u get deva.
Shinsu is quite tanky but its dmg is wierd, lvl 2 spell maxed out lvl 5 shinnie will hit mobs for like 3 dmg some times, but he seems to do ok vs undead mobs so maybe his attack is holy type.
Deva is awesome and legit perfect imo.

So for leveling we don't have much from pets but once you get deva lvl 1 they are definately decent.

Taos really should be utilising hallucinations for solo levelling, duo with warrior or sin make them go in attack all so that can get free kills

Skele is meh anyway so you aren't losing much by not having it.

Pre-33? Really? Have you been basing this debate on your experience before getting 2 of the 3 available pets? :S

33+ your ability to support increases dramatically in terms of buff potency and duration feels really strong.

Level 7 Shinsu is really tanky, needs a slight damage increase imo.
Level 1 deva is really good for pvp ( flinches ppl trying to kill you) does around 30-40 damage per hit buffed.

I think Jamie's intentions are for Taos to only group hunt as support, which they are good at!

Just don't bother solo as its painful with low damage output, I tend to solo in PSC/PT as PB is not an option for Tao, unfortunately, these don't have subs or any decent drop chances either .

Taos are a support class, yes for a well populated server. A server like euro what has thousands online, A tao on private server must be tweaked according to the player base as being a support class looses it's magic. Also add to the fact that most private servers have custom drops/drop rates so a Tao's power (as a support class) looses it's magic.

Let's be face it, on here a tao has red poison and that is it. Heal is not a normal heal but a HoT (same as what a hp potion does.) so basically Taos need to be tweaked so there is a viable option to solo level.
