I made a post like this a week or two ago but got ripped to shreds by trolls & while I was one of the only people with Shinsu at the time I can understand the lack of support.

But now that more people have Shinsu & Devas maybe we can get enough support to get this fixed.

Shinsu - movement speed is the butt of jokes even at lv7, it can be out walked in PvP and as such is of no threat to anyone.

Deva - while I don't have it yet I've noticed its range is very poor and its movement speed is so slow it doesn't even have what can be classed as movement speed. Deva used to be able to stick to a Taoists back at walking pace, and 'almost' keep up while running... The Level 3 Deva I saw lastnight looked like a zombie with its legs chopped off.

General - our pets very ignorant, there aggro range needs to be at least +1 space more, as currently the 4 space radius is just highly irritating in both PvE & PvP....ie we poison a target and your pet is completely disinterested until the mob is too close for comfort.

And finally, a pet-friendly relog system would be wonderful - it came to official mirs and I'm really surprised its not here - The biggest annoyance of my day is when I get a windows update or the storage bug and can't re-log without losing my level 7 pets, on official mir we could be offline for 5 minutes and still come back to our pets who would be waiting.

Skeleton is also too fast, its speed was always slower than Shinsu on the official servers, if anything Shinsu & Skele should have there speed swapped... but I would suggest a not insignificant boost in Shinsu speed, a substantial boost to Deva speed + attack range, and a nerf to skele speed, along with a larger aggro radius in general.

Valid points Blank, hopefuly the next big update will bring something positive for tao pets and pet system.

Skeles got nerfed and in any cave will attack the mobs first so please explain how they are overpowered.
I don't have shinsu or deva but there is a reason ppl who do don't use them.

pick and choose - if you were to give a balanced view of both sides people might listen to you more.

looks like hes basically asking for taos to be even more godlike in pvp lol.. faster shinsus? ( bare in mind they hit from 2 spaces so be pretty pointless trying to escape if thats the case, and higher deva range and walk speed? again so u want to completly annihilate anyone you attack?)

As said above funny no taos have mentioned that Bonefamiliars run like they got a firework shoved up their rear while on skates and the fact theres 2 of them= free constant flinch/dmg if not in mobbed area...

The main problem is skeles being so over powered skeles shouldn't be as fast as they are reduce there speed and increase shinsu and devas slightly to make the more useful.

In an open area no mobs a Tao with 2 pets should easy kill any other class... I take it your crying becoz your trying to pvp when there's mobs around and they aggro pets meaning a Tao is an easy target

This has nothing to do with pvp or pve it's the fact that the pets (apart from skellys) move extremely slow. Anyone looking at them can see that.

Nerf skele's.. make a SLIGHT increase to shinsu and deva in my opinion

pets are 100% useless in caves and if your dumb enough to "1vs1" in an "open area" your a clown. Shinsu and deva have never been so slow on any servers i've played, reduce bones and increase deva and shinsu.

Make skellys 10% slower. Not 99% slower.
Make shinsu/deva 20% faster. Not 100% faster.

I only say this because from all the changes I have witnessed you tend to go from one extreme to another.

But, im sure they have already ninja nerfed skelly damage. Defo seems like they were doing much more damage week an a bit ago

This policy of ninja nerfing/buffing is utterly stupid and shouldnt happen..

If i remeber correctly taos their shinsu would do 30-40 damage each hit and walk as fast as skellies walk right now.
deva moved at the same speed of shinsu and did 25ish damage each hit which would penetrate amc.
deva would stick to the player whilst kiting the monster.

Tao's have always been horribly op in pvp, only class that could do something would be a warrior cause they'd dash away from pet's then stone them with LR and 1v1 the tao fair n square.
If the tao was smart he'd just kite the warr till the end of days and win the fight anyways but that's what tao's are known for their pvp versatility , they can slow poison for damage and for reduced defence and knock back an enemy more then any other ,can heal and deal moderate damage on their own.

If you ask me in mir 2 it in my opinion was always Wizz (pve) Tao(pvp&boss) Warr (somewhat pvp&tanking bosses like a boss)
well since tao's their pets can't properly tank bosses anymore anyways since the bosses got buffed i think it's quite fair.
the fact that tao's cain a squishy assassin or archer is noit my problem and if you ask me i think tao's are already undertuned in here compared to euro where they had pure pvp dominance post 40.

Do think this is the best way to go about it, having seen shins and such.
