if so what cheats are about, what does a gm have to be looking at ect.

dude i dont wanna use them ¬¬, i need to no so i can look out for it on my server

got about 40 People crying cheat every day, and as far as im aware, there's No speedhacks./run while cursed/ Stat multiplyer hacks on td's....

TD's files shouldn't have any backdoor access.. so you can't have gm powers ingame as far as i know.

there are some bugs/exploits which are coded in.. like the dumping of stackable items..

and yes, there seems to be some cheats which work aswell like autotrain/autopot and goldstar.. if i remember the autopot allowed to level skills to level 3 even though you weren't yet allowed to train to that level and made automatically pot when needed. Goldstar was a hack for quick cash.. don't remember what else was ingame but there was more..

ah also the /TD hint screen which was actually a debug mode

nothing more.. and i really don't know if there is a way to stop any of them..

Im on about

1)increase a.speed/run speed
2) stat multiplier
3) run while cursed
4) hittin from 3 spots away


personally id just say they was faster, bt every1s admanant itsd common knowledge that u can cheat on 2.3

i guess that if you can recode the client properly and make it act like the correct client so that you are still able to log on the server then you could also use other cheats ingame but as far as i know i never have seen anyone talking about this

agree with this.. i think it's impossible.. could be possible with 2.6 which is release out here but with TD's 2.3 i don't think it can be done.

would speed programs work? I know speedX kicks u from game wen u try use it, but might be other out there that wud work?

Yes they are cheats. I don't like your attitude towards someone who is trying to help you.

If you have people complaining about cheats on your server, then they are foolish, as if they do exist, they'll work on all other 2.3 servers, and I've never heard of any cheats other than the ones mstation has pointed out.

Ive heard of people getting 1000-1000 stat hacks on another 2.3 server, no idea if it is true or not though.

Theres a speed cheat but it code 10ks you after a few seconds, and is REALLY noticeable that they are using it.

The people who are crying about speed on your server are the ones who can't hack 100+ user count servers like 4H where theres actually a whole bunch of quick/really good pvpers.

I'm one of the slowest people on mir and I manage to not get absolutely trounced by the likes of dave, josh etc it's just a case of learning how to play.

The getting hit from 3 spots away happens to me ALL the time on every server lol, it's a case of your pc/internet not having processed the action of them hitting you yet, if they hit you from 3 spaces away, it's because half a second ago, you were in that space that they have just hit, and 1/2 a second ago they hit you, just your pc/internet hasn't produced the information onto your screen until 1/2 a second after they hit you. Best i can do to explain it anyway :P

But yeh, tell the people who are crying about speed cheats to go play 4H, see how they like it when theres more than 5 people on the server who are lightning quick

Didnt read all replys but what i know off and seen, is you need some fix's for sql stops people being able to do certain things to your server. Also some thing to do with the exe ? (hex is it ?) where you can put the server gm name in it or item name in, some thing like that any way, and when the gm is logged off when you go in game you will have that item. was ages ago can hardly remember.
