Worthing is depressing.
Ok, well basically a guy at work is selling 1TB Western Digital Hard Drives with 1Tb worth of music on. It is all modern stuff, and some oldies. Muse, Bowies, Killa, Linkin Park.. any popular group/singer really.

Hes offering to me for £100... considering the HD is £75 & Included, so £25 for 250,000 songs.

Comment.

If you value the time it would take you to download 250,000 songs at £25 or higher then go for it!

sound like a good deal, depends how good the hard drive is, you know what the exact model number is? and can give my advise, you don't want a cheap clapped out hard drive or it's likely to corrupt and lose that huge collection of music.

I was tempted to do this for a while, as a little earner on the side. Although I was going to do it with movies and games.

From your point of view it's definitely worth it, imagine how long it would take you to download 1TB of good data. It's a lot of hours work for little cost.

Damn you Sawell, beat me to it! 1TB HDD's are pennies these days, so it's not like you're getting a cheap-as-chips HDD with music included. If you're after a new HDD then yeah go for it, as £40 (roughly that after the p&p, OC's **** slap everyone with that :() for 250k songs is great, though it'll take you a few days to delete the ones you don't want.

Personally I'd get a HDD and download it myself, unless you're 100% certain the guy is giving you a brand new HDD, it's very possible you're getting a used one, as mentioned above it could very easily be buggered and you could lose it all.
