Tenchu is my 3rd server i have created, the first two never actually went public but only for experience purposes. I felt before i wanted to release a server i wanted to get a good idea and understanding of what makes a good server.
After making the first two of my servers i found that they ended up being quite similar. Tenchu is a server where high level characters and noticed amongst a crowd of lower level players. I find that people put a lot of effort into building thier characters to i wanted to make a server which was as rewarding as well as fun. I want people to remember "CharName" for being high/awesome on Tenchu, like people become well known off Project69 and WeOwn for instance.
Tenchu's leveling system varys in experience depending on where you hunt and your level. The experience ranges from 100 upto 16,000. It's obvious what level players will be operating on what experience. I have made items upto level 50, and leveling is also continuable after if people wish to but I will find it hard to introduce High level looking items" for them.
Tenchu items are(I would say) medium stats, a level 50 warrior with best kit would be looking at a maximum of 115-120 top DC. Wizards and Taoists will be looking at 60-75/80 MC and SC. I have tried to keep base DC/MC and SC moderatly low.
There are 150 new items on estimate all ranging from 30-50.
When server is complete there is hopefully going to be 10-15 new hunting areas/boss hunts not including ZT, ST, RME, WT and BC which are still present in game for lower levels.
So far there are 2 quests, for medium level players. The 2nd quest are individual quests for Warriors, Wizards and Taoists but have the same idea as each other and ofcoarse, a different reward.
I would say Marriage npc is a feature but it really isnt anymore, so I dont know why people still "feature" it in a server.
This isnt a Ledu server, gems and stones are not in game, im sticking to normal items and good old refining :P
