Terminator - Salvation

Anyone seen this yet?

I went to pics last night to watch it and it was mint, by far better then the poor effort of Terminator 3.

Would recommend you go watch it.

10/10 for entertainment.

as a film it was great, but without arny it just isn't terminator still terminator 2 the best by far.

Was meant to be going to see it last night, but it has shocking reviews so my mates couldn't be arsed to go and see it. I will go and see it at some point though, just hope Christian Bale isn't as disappointing as John Connor as i imagine!

shocking reviews iv seen 4 star and 5 star ratings for it all over the place. On Odeon the average USER rating is a 4 star. (45% of the ratings were 5 star, 23% were 4 star) there will always be some people who don't like a film no matter how good it is.

yeah all ive heard about it are terrible comments. no arnie. no main characters. no story. this is what ive read. sorta put me off watching it.

Seems to me they have took the whole "Terminator" a bit too far really such as the bots being 50ft tall etc

Dont really like the look of it number 2 was the best and will probs stay like that for me

What we have to remember though, is that the Terminator saga is an ongoing story line and the fact they haven't brought Arnie into doesn't change the story at all.

Hey I didn't mind T3 as a bit of a pisstake lol. It was on tv here the other night infact (second time I've watched it) and I thoroughly enjoyed it :P

I was thinkin about goin to watch the new 1 as well and I probably will at some time but then I saw pics of the terminator machine thing on the net and that's when I realised it deffinately isn't gonna be the same with Arny.

I'm guessing this might be a bit more like the Sarah Connor Chronicles tv series (not that I've actually ever seen it) but yeah won't know til you watch it urself.

the Sarah Connor Chronicles tv series is actualy pretty descent in my opinion, id give it a watch if your a terminator fan, tells you a lot about the story that you don't hear about in the films. Yeah the film isn't the same without arnie but he kinda is too old now, his muscles have all gone and he's just a fat old man lol.

arnie was in it? guess u didnt take much notice lol he was in it near the end, the big hard robot that was kickin arse was arnie, just a computerised version.

was a good film, prefered it to any of the other terminators tbh

I saw the trailer and it looks really good, might go watch it at the screens or maybe free online?

There was little effort placed on story or character but the action and special effects are enough to carry this movie. Its a great way to spend a few hours. :brows:
