just told by a member from greatwall that many Chinese kept asking Jamie to translate the game into Chinese, and some ppl such as Ace and tango keep asking Jamie for skill books, gears etc. for helping him to do the translation, don't know if Jamie would do such things, same as usual the Chinese never gonna play fair, also I was being told the Chinese paying to buy gold, for like around 2BP for 1 mil gold, and paying to lvling their characters such as tango, ace, Chinano1 etc. for 1-2 BP per hour. Good job China numba wan keep up the work

I am creating translations Yes.

It will take at least 20 hours of source editing and I am doing it for them...

There's NO way I am doing all this work for them to then pay them, the translations are their own reward.

If it is not for Chinese Mir3 fans' benefit, I wouldn't bother to reply you here.

For the record, I never asked for anything from Jamie. The screen shot was a joke from Ace because he's been hunting at Hymoon for demonic book a very long time.

I never bought gold from any player for cash, I leveled fast because I have a close friend who has been playing Mir with me for years. He lives in China and I lives in the USA. We share playing my cha because we're in different time zone.

For friends in my guild and other Chinese friends, I offer advanced item I got in higher level cave for free, such as skill books, advanced items not of my class and they offered me some compensation gold for pot.

In the end, I just want to say putting country, race, people into Mir is a shame. Game is just a game, enjoy the game and please don't mess Mir3 up with other conflicts which is totally unnecessary.

What can I get for helping translate to Swahili? I'd like some level ups and some companion stats please. :)

A lot of people on Mir act disgracefully, on top of that they can't come up with any original "banter" so they love to have dig at you guys which is completely wrong + they are jealous of the amount of work rate you put in.

Thanks for playing on the server, good fight for EC recently (THC/RageQuitGG) and tell Ace from me good fight in Life Death Coffin :)

LOMCN HQ with Tai, eating bagels.
Classic xenophobia from small minded people.

If an English person had said something similar, like they were correcting grammatical errors and typo's throughout NPCs and made a joke about getting some sort of compensation.

Would there be a quote saying "typical engrish cant get buy normal dey has to cheet and fings." ?

No? Didn't think so.

The ****? Keep your logical, and incredibly agreeable thoughts to yourself. Coming on here with your correct, and nuanced views that I can't support any harder. Pfff. You post jokes. Nothing more!

It's odd he's translating to Chinese however. A weird move, but if he thinks it's financially beneficial, then screw it, good luck. Will be good to see more people playing, from whatever ethnicity. RIP his 'complaints numbers' though :(

It's not odd at all, the number of Chinese players outweighs the community here 100 fold+ easily. Catering to both is common sense, even if it only bings in a few here and there.

I never understood why others never did the same, granted most servers coming out here are 2'a penny, and dont really compete with their releases.

I know i planned to all along.

Nice one :) localisation of the client will help bring and keep more people playing and hopefully give longevity to the server.

It's odd only in the sense that I thought content would be the focus, not an entire language change, when it would need outside support (although don't know if he has got outside help but it seems like it) - doesn't sound like its a massive, time consuming change though.

I don't think it's wrong, and literally said if it is beneficial to him financially then it's a good idea, just that it's an odd step to spend time on seeing as it's always been OK previously - although I do agree it's also weird that it's never been done before, based on how popular it is there.

Perhaps not odd then, but more... intriguing? Unique? Surprising? That sort of thing.

Tbh it worked well with HAPPY and i can see it working much better here as Chinese people will play English server's with 0 translation and very little English known. Also Happy didn't have an English player help with Translation... Can't wait to see server count fly to 400+

Should try get a Spanish / Polish Translation for some stuff aswell they are pretty strong numbers on Zircon.

Catering to the player base is just good business.

There's obviously a substantial Chinese interest, and it would certainly liven up the server even more and perhaps even bridge some gaps we've made in our own community (Such as combining us together to fight TheGreatWall haha).

If translating to cater to that interest brings in hundreds more players for us to fight, then awesome.

Jamie seems capable of balancing both the loads, and the content isn't short yet. Holy Palace was introduced and we've not actually beaten ALL of the bosses that we're previously on offer just yet....and I think Lair release is also just round the corner, with plenty of Korean content on hold until we reach that point....then probably more of his own content on top of that.

Glad we agree.

As I say, I have faith in Jamie. He thinks it's worth his time, cool, you can be sure it is.
