If you actually bothered to read the acceptable usage policy (aka Web Products Agreement by AOL) a legal contract you sign when you register to their service, you would know what you are doing not only is against the policy you signed, but also against the law.

Might I direct you to here where you can see a copy of the contract you signed when you joined AOL. Further to this, to save you reading, please take note of the following line:

"You may not use the Software or Service to:

* post, transmit, promote, or distribute content that is illegal or use the software or service to conduct illegal activities."

A synonym of the word lateral is both creative and imaginative, because being unorthodox to a high degree is down to a creative characteristic, assessment outside of the box and looking at something at other angles can only be done if you are imaginative.

There are flaws i'm sure, but in that particular line there are none. I have yet to find an ISP that doesn't leave a statement to protect themselves against any illegal activity by a user.
