Turn windows defender off, download it, set an exemption for the rarfile, turn back on windows defender, run the patcher, this happens pretty much with every private server exe… your welcome

I've been playing Mir private server for over a decade and never had this specific issue with Chrome + Windows Defender blocking the download. I assume the upgrade to Defender in May and September is part of the problem here M$ taking back control.

Also as stated above, make sure to turn off defender, download file, exclude the target apocv2 file then re-enable windefender.
(Thats if the patcher still has any issues)

Oh, i remember when my client had same issue and I got accused of attacking servers

Is a "false positive" because of obfuscation, as Windows Security/Defender cant see whats inside the exe.
