The new interface is great, but

the HP & MP gauge is poor. It is 'showy' (or some would say generic design) but poor in function. And it doesn't help that the numeric display successfully manages to cover the whole middle part of it. o.o

I can't help thinking it was designed by somebody who never really played the game.

I have been wondering if some menu with the proper ball could be hacked as floating thingie or optionally shown in the minimap style - like it would show up if you clicked on some button. Speaking of minimap, in 1024x768 it really lives up to its name LOL

I play on laptop that has native 1440x900 res. and maybe on bigger displays it is bigger or can be made bigger?

And something really has to be done at least about the color of the dot showing your position on the map. In the old days when I RTed, a short glance at the map made it clear where I landed. Now if I land in place with no mobs around which gives my location away with the red color, I have to squint hard to find that shitty albeit blinking little circle or what it is.

In short, I like the new resolution and the mini interface but these two things make me think of returning back to 800x600 and the old interface.

Just use the older type of interface, i't to hard to see your hp on the other one imo, if you had your hp bar above your head as in been reved it would work.

Aye I really like the fact that with the mini interface you can see so much more, it helps a lot and will no doubt give people who use this interface an advtange over others when it comes to PVP, but I had to put it back on the old interface in the end purely becuase its a lot more difficult to keep track of your hp when its in a tiny box in a part of a screen you dont tend to look at much. Would be nice if the mini interface could still be mini but with the original ball style hp/mp gauge in the same place and positioning as it is with the standard interface.

Odd that people are complaining about an interface style with HP/MP in the top left corner which has been the staple of MMO Gaming since at least 1998. Play any MMO and that's exactly where the HP/MP is. I would rather have it stay where it is and perhaps a warning sound (preferably customisable) when HP or MP reach a certain percent.

I suppose most games do have the option of plates above player heads, as I've pretty much always played healer classes, I would also agree with that idea.
