I'm tired of so many mistakes in my laptop ... I am willing to buy a new pc just to have the server. which you believe to be the "best" computer for server hosting??

would be of great help to me what ye should say for components; like what processor power, how much ram, graphic card, Ethernet target, wireless, etc. ..

ah and the best program for "remote Administration" 'cause the last time i tryed with TeamViewer 4 and i had problems with the IP 'cause TeamViewer was used the ip of the server a lot of times..

i need it to configure 'cause i spend a lot of time away from home

MINIMUM SPEC:

1GB Ram - But can run on 512mb
80GB HDD

IDEAL SPECS:

WINDOWS 2003 DC
3Ghz CPU
2GB Ram
160GB HDD

VNC over hamachi is the best to use, team view is slow and a pain in the ass. Also VNC can be used at the same time as RDP.

Why would you need a terminal if you are hosting it??? Just buy yourself a KVM switch. A laptop could run a server no problem as long as the air can circulate so it does not overheat. If you are really help bent on using a remote terminal, use UltraVNC .
