Thinking about an upgrade

Well looking for some help.

I Currently have:

AMD 6000+
3GB DDR2 RAM
9800GT Gcard
MSI K9N Neo Mobo
300GB unsure what HDD type but will get a new one.

Thinking of upgrading the mobo & HDD. Reason for Mobo upgrade is that its getting old and only supports 4gb RAM which I want to get more soon and 6000+ processor is basically best i can use.

So any ideas what to get? i only really want to have to buy a new mobo & HDD, but will i need anything else? i obv have case, DVD drive, PSU, RAm, Gcard, Processor

Looking to spend 100ish maybe more at a push for the mobo?

Get a motherboard + couple GB ram bundle off ebay, Seems the best way to go about upgrades these days for value. 300GB hard drive seems pretty decent enough unless of course its getting abit old ¬_¬

ye only problem u may hav is if u wanna go for a new mobo, most only support ddr3 now, so wld mean new ram too.

might b same with processor 2, not sure which socket amd 6000 is without checkin so not sure if that wld need upgradin 2.

Its socket AM2.

Hmm, well Mobo, 3GB DDR3 (if needed, and can upgrade later) and prolly HDD as mines a little old, not sure if it will fit new mobos?

Anyway to check what HDD I have without taking pc to bits? Dis management doesnt seem to tell me much

all you really need to know is if its ide or sata, and if its sata, which sata. aside from that its pretty much your choice.

so any sata II hard drive will fit u fine
