Threads/Craft Set

Can these be made easier to create now? Gone are the days where people play this server too seriously and its been made more for fun than attracting huge numbers these days, in keeping with that do we really need 38,000 threads, plus the other what 60/70k items for a Blue(H) set. Cant even be bothered to work out what that costs to make going on market price of each thread/bio/ingredients but for the full set your probs looking at over 1b.

Bit disproportionate to the price of say 50+ items that drop regularly enough to negate the no dura perk of the set.

I know threads were made easily farmable with macros or something, which was stopped, but thats given those who took advantage exactly that, an advantage. Remove it by making the sets easier to make.

Its hardly game breaking.

I think it should be left the way it is. So many places and ways to farm the mats it is easy mode and you don't even need to pick them up. with the ease of getting max luck you just 1 shot a load of mobs and move on.

or optimise your kit and farm fox hill the mobs there drop them in stacks of 5x with the chance of dropping set / fox items worth upto 30 mill.

Making the crafted kit cheaper will make it harder for the new players to gain gold.

There should be other ways for new/low players to make cash.

Those players cannot farm them at the pace higher levels can, and thus are priced out of the market providing those higher levels sell them anyway. And if they keep them for crafting, they dont need to buy 10 threads from noobs cause theyre farming 100's, idk 1000's? a week And even if they put all of their effort into farming them and made a fortune, its ****ing boring by anyones standards.

So your logic from an economy POV is flawed imo. It would be much better for said low players to be able to craft the sets much more often, and getting one with a desirable added stat to sell to higher players, or kit themselves up.

The high lvls i know dont farm for threads they use their time to farm bosses for items and buy threads. I myself have brought 1000s of threads from TM and will continue to do so as i need them to expand my bag and inventory. Also if i'm 500/1000 threads or w/e away from upgrading an item ill just buy them from TM rather than oh ill get them in x time from just killing my way to a boss.

When the crafted set first came out, I like a lot of other though nah this will never happen but with the ease of farming mats now there is no need to make the crafted set easier. Plus where is the satisfaction when its just handed to you.

I don't see low lvl players risk crafting multiple items hoping for a added stat, it just isn't time efficient when they can be exping to wear better higher lvl items which there is an abundance of in comms inexpensively.

If the crafted set had dura, possibly maybe make it cheaper, but as it stands once you made it, it's there forever.

look for yourself on comms, the thread market is in a health place for someone who wants to farm them.

Your wrong about people finding it boring farming threads, i have guildies who skip guild hunts to farm mats its so funny. In turn they trade the threads for items lol.

I also brought mine for cash back when I was playing ( I think I was the 1st to get 3x green H when most ppl struggled to get red H/green ). Costed me a small fortune tbh but hey...if u want them bad enough :P

Hi. would you be kind enough to suggest a decent (low budget Ish) kit for fox hill. i went the other day in agil kit and got smashed by greater foxes.

You need Magic Resist and AMC primarily.
