Right, just felt the need to do a quick post about how all you cheaters and or exploiters are ruining the game for everyone and yourselves. If you spent less time trying to get 1 up over the server/gm's and the other players the server team could have more time working on new content and improving the server. I know it's a long shot and there will always be these kinda of people who think the short term gains of cheating and exploiting will work and they'll get away with it. But please just take a moment and think, hey i actually spend a lot of my time playing this game , why not enjoy the experience more letting the server team improve the game instead of you being arrogant morons and trying to ruin it for everyone else and eventually yourselves when you get banned/deleveld and then moaning on forums about it. Why waste so much of your time leveling and playing for then to get a quick short term gain to just get banned? ENJOY THE GAME AND PLAY IT HOW ITS SUPPOSE TO BE PLAYED FGS!!!!! This server has a lot of potential. Stop scaring away new players because all they can see is cheat/cry posts. Yes i'm aware this is one of them but hopefully this will make one or two think before acting.

thats why i think a perma ban would have been great for alot of people. exploiters seem to exploit everything not just until they are caught but until they are shown that it is not acceptable.

2bh well said and i would say a temp ban say a week then 2nd time 2 week ban with half of ur lvls gone then 3rd prem ban char wiped along with name and shamed on all 3 times this may teach them not to cheat

What some people need to realise, is it's not about banning people, it's about sending a message.

You can silently permanently ban someone, which you know, minor success you stopped ONE cheater.

But if you ban this guy and you make it very aware that a popular, well known player has been permanently banned and has no hope of returning to the game, that sends a clear warning to all that it's zero tolerance, if the big wigs can get hit then anybody can. That's the idea they need to send. That nobody is exempt, you cheat you will get banned.

there's character levelling as a service and characters for sale
there's people supplying items from there hunts for irl cash because its easier than getting a job.
then there's those who don't play just pay and buy stuff from the above. They aren't called cheats but they wreck the game for everyone else by pricing stuff way out of reach for the ordinary decent or casual player.

Exploiters have been let off. til now.
Before you open your mouth from your cloud cuckoo place learn what you are really talking about.
Cheats are programs or scripts or macros people write to change the way the game works
Cheats have been banned some well known ones. The staff do ban when they are certain
Exploits are mistakes the coders made which people find out about and use.
Now
do you want to have players banned for exploiting SW gold? (a mistake of the server team)
for getting some extra exp A mistake of the coders (who could resist)
for getting loads n loads of items from bugged bosses? a mistake of the server staff (who would resist)
two of those were reported. all the staff had to do was take the stuff off them. They didn't. They ignored 2 and suddenly got stroppy with another.

You know we can murder people in real life, I mean (who could resist).
Just because the option is there doesn't mean you do it.
A mistake of the server team for allowing it to happen, an exploit for the people using it for their own gain.

If it's giving you extra exp it's an exploit, you can see it, it's easy to resist anything if you're not weak.

Such an angry soul. Ok some people play mir and get way too into it. But it's also nice to detach yourself from reality for a few hours and enjoy it as a hobby and chilling out time. We play to enjoy the game. Not to let other people ruin the experience for others. That's what its about. I don't care about people making money off the game. Fair play too them. They deserve it for putting the hours in just so other people can play it for enjoyment. Shut up you moron.
