Sry if some1 have just go into it, i played mir last time in chronicles and i don't remember this thing... is possible to remove the TOO FAR AWAY for cast spell? the cool thing of wiz is to take mobs from a very long range and this things ruin a bit the gameplay imho.

there will be a MAXIMUM range that spells/arrows can hit.

the increase in resolution and the ability to see mobs further away still wont take away your ability to hit from range, just not as far as you like :)

i dont know what apocs maximum range is but you could probably work it out

Yeah it is annoying, I thought of work around for ranged attacks, like if you're an archer as an example and you're attacking a monster that is out of your range your character would path find until its in range to attack.

Not sure if this would work with spells casting.

We have maximum range set at 9, maybe we will adjust that or work on a better experience when ur too far.

We will discuss it and make a decision.

you could always reduce the damage of the attack the further from say 9 you are, that way agro can still be drawn and pick off mobs but the damage doesnt really get back to normal until your within the 9 that is set...

just an idea

Max range should always be the lowest approved resolution (1366) if you increase max range you give anyone playing at a high res a further advantage than they already have. If you did go down increasing the max range you would have to force lock the resolution so everyone has the same range.

or u coud set max range in pvp and not in pve (idk if it's possible) so no1 have advantage in pvp

Increasing max range then allows range player's to hit over walls they shouldn't be hitting over.

Doing so makes some monsters/bosses easier to farm because of the 0 agro.

Yeah just add in the autopathing thing hany don't increase that range.

As a side note you could always lower your resolution if it's bothering you that way you can only see what you can hit.
