after 2mb your speed connection to mir maxes out so anything above is useless, also if your on 8mb you will be on a router which also will max your line connection mine for mine and my bros pc is set at 1.5mb and with prority 1 meaning if other people are on other pcs and all pcs are using alot of data me and my bro will get prority but most commen routers dont have these kind of options and just split your connection equally so you wont be running around mir with a 8mb connection.
