i think this person whants to know that they know each item has a code for example player X could have 2 Dss's and 1 with the code xx1 and the other code ww1 and all they want to know is, is there a way of finding the code and tracking it down.

I've been looking for a similar proggie. Besat I've come up with so far is a program on my handheld called bfind - only prob is I cant copy it to pc so to use it ia need to copy logs over then search them...

The program looks through every file and finds any text entered in search box - so if you want to find a dss with id no 345678 youd put 345678 in search box and it'll go through every file lookuing for that string of text. Its great cause it lists every file item is located in so you can follow wthe item precicesly..... perfect for tracking lost/stolen items that have been transferred from char to char.

A pc alt is needed!! - I'f leo is feeling adventruious maybe he'd like to take on the task of makking a similar program? (unless someone knows of an existing(fre) one

I use Notepad2.

Its really unbelivably simple!
1. Identify a time where you knew EXACTLY who had the item.
2. Find this place inside your logs
3. Get the item ID from this point
4. Open windows search
5. Tell it to look at your entire log directory for files containing the text (the text being the item ID).
6. Search

Ta-daa!!!!
And that feature has been around since Win 95!

This is spanning from a item that he claims was hacked from his account on Destiny Server. I checked all the logs and found that the only people to go onto his account are the people who he has given access to. He now claims that it is possible to mask your ip and log on without making a record in the logs. So now we need a way to find the item. I'll try what you said LeoCrasher.

P.S I use windows search alot to look through the logs.

It is possible to mask your IP, but you need an lot of stuff to do it, and tbh, it aint worth the effort just for some little hacking on a Private Server, hes lieing :P

because they went about banning all my accounts so i did it so they couldnt tell it was me
