This might be a local issue related to yourself as we have had no other reports of anything like this and just tested on my system and it does not happen.

Are you sure the pointer is stuck and just not off screen.

the damn thing happening on both PC's....i tried all game resolutions too... same thing
i will try to explain better... even if minimap small/big or no minimap it still happening
when my cursor gets on right top corner (very close to corner) the cursor gets stuck there (i mean not reacting as it should) if i try to move my mouse the cursor start shaking in the corner

to get my cursor out that damned corner i must turn my mouse upside down and slide to left with my finger on mouse light till it jumps out corner.

you saying if im sure its not out off screen.... well i can see the cursor all the way, so i guess not?

sorry m8 need to update patcher haha haven't played for a while .. but now it is saying wrong client ... but I went to the trubble shooter for the wrong client version and it takes me to a page that is no longer there .. I can get into my account now .. but like I say it is the wrong version were can I get the updated version from ... sorry for being a pain

I've been having issues loading the patcher for a couple of weeks now and having to run the mir2.exe directly to launch but since the reboot (and update) I cant load the .exe at all.

I'm getting this error message when loading the patcher, any help?

You need to install the latest .NET Framework, the link should be in the OP, if not a quick google will find it

It might be a Google DNS issue, google has been acting the maggot for me all day

I have the latest net framework 4.5, if I run the installer It tells me there is a newer version of the patcher but never goes any further, if I run the patcher my framework kicks in and tells me there is an error.

You do know this is Sams server right, and his post is valid, your error says you have no connection to the internet

Are you running the patch program as admin?
Have you tried rebooting your system?

yes I know he is a gm but no need to say that if I am not connected to the internet how am I posting these posts? nothing meant in any disrespect to sam. my net frame work is playing up and your patcher is playing up saying there is a new patcher or saying it is downloading but not actually doing anything. I asked for advice saying connect to the internet is not advice.

But the error message in the picture you posted says that the problem is your connection to the Internet

so i now know the cause, have set Avast to ignore the Mir folder but still bloody does it.

dont really want to uninstall Avast so any ideas?

Tell Avast to ignore the false report or just delete it and install Micro$oft security essentials

Melkor and Clintus, I was having the same problem with that same error.
I use AVG Free. I just temporarily disabled it and now my game is patching.

Running as admin?
Do you have full rights to the E:\Mir folder

Seems AV's have updated and put whatever's in Mir (Themida?) as a high priority target, and most attempt to add it as an exception are thwarted.

People will either need to completely disable or uninstall their AV to play on certain AV's as the exception just won't work.
