Seems AV's have updated and put whatever's in Mir (Themida?) as a high priority target, and most attempt to add it as an exception are thwarted.

People will either need to completely disable or uninstall their AV to play on certain AV's as the exception just won't work.

That is crazy if they have as Themida is not a virus and is used world wide by large and small companies.

BH, I kept trying different things.
I was even having problems when I ran as admin, although I cant remember which situation I was in when I took those screenies.
Like I've read on other parts of the forums, Mir2.exe is treated as a virus and instantly deleted when I run it, unless I disable AVG.

Despite the issues, I did just get ingame, so there are ways around.

The thing is, it is not a virus, AVG is reporting a false positive (it is the only scanner that does this) all the other virus scanners I have tested with have rightly said that the files are clean

Yeah I've read people use Microsoft Security Essentials. Maybe its time for me to move on from AVG after all these years!

Hi,

I'm away this weekend and am using an iPhone tether with my laptop over 3G to access the internet though when I try to log in I'm able to load the patcher and get to the character select screen yet after selecting the char Mir then gets stuck at 'Starting the game, please wait'

Any idea how to resolve this? I used an iPhone tether when I was away last July to log in and didn't have any issues then so slightly frustrating that it won't work this time.

Try again and give it more time to connect. It could just be your laptops having issues loading everything.

Tried leaving it earlier and just got 'failed to connect to server' after about five minutes.

Not the end of the world if I can't get on as back next week but just strange that it worked when I was out here last time.

Your connecting via 3G not really the best thing in the world. It's going to be hit or miss as its a mobile network

Hi Sam, i downloaded the game and ran it and it didn't work, as my net frame was outdated, so i uninstalled netframes after trying to update it. i then tried to download 4.5.1, however netframe downloads fine np at all but as soon as i run it, its extracts it then says setup installer stopped working

Finally sorted that problem with net frame.

Now when i run the game i get class not registered
