I also agree with this, recently low rate servers have attracted a lot more attention than shitty highrates with no prospects or ideas!
point proven by this server being the first lowrate to attract the user count it did in early days, i remember joining 3 weeks into beta and there being 250+ people online and back then there was only bw for stalls and really wasnt that many 20 stalls max.. goes to show the server DID have the player count and potential to be something spectacular but lets face it, we all know it isnt looking too great at the moment.
Your comment makes no logical sense "Than shitty high rate with no prospects" Actually, a HR has 10000 x more prospects than a low rate.
A low rate can be updated once a year, to keep the "Low rate" balance, otherwise it turns into a "shitty" hr/mr.
While a HR/MR can be updated weekly/monthly with new content.
There is not a SINGLE long running low-rate in the history of LOMCN (10+ Years), every single long running server has been HR/MR. (Long running is classed as 2-3 years + btw...)
Yet, people still cry out for LR's "Longevity" even though all the evidence and past experience points to them not lasting longer than 6 months, at a push.
There is a reason euro died, and that's because it was ****. Man up, deal with that, and move on.
The only reason LR attract such a big crowd atm, is because everyone is obsessed with nostalgia and thinks it will be the "new euro". When really all they do is level to 40 in 3 days, whinge about no updates, and leave 3 months later.
