I also agree with this, recently low rate servers have attracted a lot more attention than shitty highrates with no prospects or ideas!
point proven by this server being the first lowrate to attract the user count it did in early days, i remember joining 3 weeks into beta and there being 250+ people online and back then there was only bw for stalls and really wasnt that many 20 stalls max.. goes to show the server DID have the player count and potential to be something spectacular but lets face it, we all know it isnt looking too great at the moment.

Your comment makes no logical sense "Than shitty high rate with no prospects" Actually, a HR has 10000 x more prospects than a low rate.

A low rate can be updated once a year, to keep the "Low rate" balance, otherwise it turns into a "shitty" hr/mr.

While a HR/MR can be updated weekly/monthly with new content.

There is not a SINGLE long running low-rate in the history of LOMCN (10+ Years), every single long running server has been HR/MR. (Long running is classed as 2-3 years + btw...)

Yet, people still cry out for LR's "Longevity" even though all the evidence and past experience points to them not lasting longer than 6 months, at a push.

There is a reason euro died, and that's because it was ****. Man up, deal with that, and move on.

The only reason LR attract such a big crowd atm, is because everyone is obsessed with nostalgia and thinks it will be the "new euro". When really all they do is level to 40 in 3 days, whinge about no updates, and leave 3 months later.

Please, do elaborate on what prospects a HR has? Besides their ridiculously unrealistic armour and weapons that get thrown on them. How about the stupidly high levels which take no real achievement to gain? Oh here's a exp token go get 50 levels in 30 mins, stupidly high stats, no real challenge to gain rare items. And for those that have more money than sense and cba to work for things, yes.. You can donate for items and levels etc etc.

please tell me how that is prospect? Yes a lot of high rate servers have been around for a long time but let's be honest what is their target they set out to achieve? Oh, that's right.. Gain as many customers they can have them donate so they can make money from it. Let's be honest all high rates are set around earning cash none of them have been made to please their customers or keep them happy! Honestly I'd much rather play a low rate and earn the stuff I have than throw a few hundred quid at a gm for items etc.

Have a good day.

Prospects? for one, more content, a lot more content....

. being a HR does NOT dictate how easy/hard the game is, only the magnitude of the numbers involved.

HR also don't have to have stupidly unrealistic armors. Lol. That's a server owners choice, not a prerequisite of a high rate there's no godly rule which says "If making a high rate thou must put in stupid armors and weapons, and give out exp tokens and make all items drop 1/1 off bosses"

You absolute pleb.

Another 1 of your argument about HR out for cash, this is just so retarded and again has nothing to do with a server being HR or LR, simply the Game masters personality/choice and reasoning for creating the server.

A HR has alot more scope for development/content than a LR, people like you and your mindset are what is killing this game, your so obsessed with LR and think there the only 1's which can have a challenging environment, which is just total crap.

People like me kill the game? Funny that I had only been back to mir for around 7montn and hadn't played mir for four year prior to that, so I very much doubt people like me is what kills it at all you inconsiderate prick! I simply threw my personal opinion out there and you decided to flame it screaming out how much content etc you can put in high rates.. Why the **** do you think low rates can't do this too? There's nothing preventing low rates adding the same content just for different level sets.

I think i got a 3 day ban on mir 3 for calling somebody a knob lol.

Can't wait for this server. got very high hopes!!

the test server was a good server , just people out leveled the content too fast and it wasn't sams vision of a server he wanted to run.

The new server is x3 exp rate and he will be adding alot more content , i cant wait tbh :P
