Rates...

2Day listing: 10% commission
3Day listing: 13% commission
5Day listing: 15% commission

Example...

Sell WarSpiritBlade for 10mill, list for 5 days to ensure max coverage and to prevent relisting.

Returns if sale completes: 9mill.
Returns if sale is not completed: -1mill + relist cost.

It's extremely harsh, I will not use the TM with these rates. Considering that currently to make a mill you're looking at 1-2days mining.

- the rates are super high. (really you'd never wanna sell for more then 5% commission imho)
- 5 day limit is really low (there's tons of ppl who only play in weekends, 5 days limits it, should be 7/8 days or something)

I also think the rates are too high, but the whole point this time round is so people don't have 389745983 million sitting in their bag and this is a decent gold sink lol

Gold isn't easy to come by on closed beta, granted no one is mining 24/7 or spending too much time cashing with GM's on hand to give cash out but I can't see anyone having stack of gold to burn on TM commissions.

There's already a pretty decent gold sink as is, tbh. Simply buying pots and playing etc you're usually forced to mine for a bit of cash any way to keep afloat (depending on the class, mind) I do feel these rates are a tad bit harsh atm. Don't get me wrong, but I think inflation will happen at a later date perhaps when gold starts becoming abundant (currently, not the case)

Perhaps an on-going weekly commission uprate of 1% up to a cap? Start it at say, 5% for now. This means longer server goes on for, meaning more cash inflow, the higher the commission rate gets. Only downside I can see to this is new starting players at a later date get a bit hard-done by this rule.

Having the commission set at what I would say is a reasonable amount provides us with a number of benefits also as it is generally abused (e.g. crap items and/or unreasonably priced items).

The time limit is also reasonable I believe... If it doesn't sell within the first 2/3/5 days is it really worth clogging up the TM?

Problem is, certain items such as AC/AMC gems while you could argue are valuable, don't ever get sold because they're less important than other gems - so they need time to find a buyer.

You say junk as if it is bad, but remember, when a new player starts later down the road this "junk" is fantastic to them and you then get to sell your "junk" item. Giving you gold and giving new players an available resource of items.

With high commissions and a low time to sell, I feel the Merch won't really get used. Decent rare items will be sold manually via trade shout for maximum value as well.

1% commission per day would be reasonable

1% for 1 Day
3% for 4 Days
7% for 7 Days

I would much prefer rates like above to the current ones. I like the <1 week expiry date but with such high rates you're risking too much of a loss without actually selling anything.

you could have a set fee for listing instead of commisson.
As it is the air will be spammed with selling shouts.
I dont really see why you have to pay at all for listing tbh, just make all items returned after 7 days and flag em so they cant be relisted for 7.

or bring stalls back :P

got a feeling people will be using the much cheaper option, selling items over the forum like the old days! :P

i can understand them trying to control the golds rates but nerfing item drops from bosses like IWT and adding this to the TM aswell?

exciting to finaly get a TM ingame but another crap choice by adding that! probaly wouldnt be as bad if gold and decent priced shop items werent nerfed in the drop files! :(

maybe the next idea the team talks about should be shared on the forum, let us players have a say on it aswell to help stop bad ideas from ruining what should have been a cool addition

Many times when I made new char down the road (or joined the server at later time) I was happy I could buy junky rares for it as I leveled. It will all be gone and for no good reason. I mean if you have Search function, what is the matter? Does having pages of items in TM load the server down or what.

I also remember how usa mir had many in game services too expensive to push pple into buying with real cash in their game shop and it sucked big times.

Worthing is depressing.

I prefer this... bidding wars etc! You can do items for items too.. giving poor people more chances as they can give items & cash than pure cash.

will commission rates be staying as are or are they being revised?

Can't see many people using this function at the current rates.
