Two hard drives

I was wondering if it was possible to take an old hard drive with XP on it (32 bit) and install on a new pc with Windows 7(64 bit), and then boot both drives at the same time, and what I would need to do to make that happen?

i don't think you can boot 2 os's... you could run them both and pick which os to run

If you just wanted to run the windows 7 HDD and access the others files etc just setup the XP one as a slave

There's no such thing as a 32 bit Hard Drive.


Yes, you can dual boot Operating Systems, but i'm unsure if you can with 32 bit and 64 bit. I'm running W7 x64, unsure if I could dual boot a x86 OS.
