Earlier today I lost 3 men, good men they were, now food for the crows.
We stopped by a village to resupply and were set upon by the locals, locals that have sworn allegiance with Rome.
Although a group of skinny farmers with rusting blunt pitch forks offer me no trouble, 3 of my recruits allowed themselves to be taken by surprise.

If anyone has any news regarding the war band that are misrepresenting the Emperor and turning loyal villages against us please come forward, this treason will not go unpunished.

Keep your wits about you, blind servant to the emperor. These few men will not be the first you encounter in this unforgiving land.
