So has anyone tried to run Mir Chronicles through Ubuntu yet?

I imagine through WINE it could work quite well, I mean if WoW has better performance through Ubuntu+WINE then why not Mir?

If it does, you certainly don't want to be using Ubuntu to run it. Ubuntu is to heavily codded with so much crap that's not necessary. Debian in my opinion would be better, for the fact it's a starting block for a Linux OS and then just build it up for what you need it for. Rather than Ubuntu, as you would have to disable a lot of features.

Also, even though the servers down I've tried a few times to get Chronicles working on Ubuntu through PlayOnLinux, with no joy of even starting the game so far.
