i got a hp pavilion 750, had it years, its prob the best system i've every had, never crashes, hangs up or anything.. if you have another HD, install OS on that, well thats if you dont mind losing everything on your other comp..

on the second option i get this sometimes..

simply reboot compture, and try again..

Lol got no cash for a new HD and it has quite a lot of important files lol

And no amount of rebooting is fixing it lol.

Bu oh well it's gone to my dads now and he's gunna try see if he can fix it so....lol

Just get a ps/2 keyboard.

lol i have, i've tried my new keyboard and the 1 that came with the PC in the 1st place lol, they both just disable on that screen -.-
