UltraEdit (Hex Editing)

Right, im trying to get the hang of hex editing,

I understand how to find and replace strings, i just dont know how you export the file as an .exe

For example, i'll open mir2.exe in ultraedit, if i click "save", then try to run mir2.exe, i get the error "This is not a win32 application".

When editing chinese strings you cant add anymore than what is there.

Example

ûÓÐСµØͼ - 10 Characters
No MiniMap - 10 Characters will work
No Mini Map - 11 Characters will not work

do a quick earch in google for Hex Code, there should be a manual on there (that i used for college) that tells u about how to read it aswell, as theres different ways to understand this and its wierd as hell, i tryed in college
