Unlocking Phone Via Pc

I have a Sony Ericsson v600i locked to vodaphone im trying to unlock using the usb lead provided with the phone which i heard is possible but 1 prob where can i get free cracked software to unlock my SE V600i reason i posted here is because many comp users on LOMCN may have this software i need

P.S When i say free cracked software i dont mean half of the crap on google free program just pay for the "username n pass" PURE 110% free software if anyone can possibly help me punk:

Don't you just type a code in on your phone, wouldn't that be easier than downloading some software?

The code is different depending on your IMEI.

you need a special cable to unlock your phone you cannot use the one that came with it. you best bet other than buying a cable off ebay is to phone voda and just ask them and they will unblock it for you, i know they used to do it but im not sure how they stand on it with these newer phones

You CAN use your 'normal' USB cable to unlock your phone. However the only software I've seen to do it costs 50 euros. It was just released today (...coincidence?) by the davinciteam - http://www.davinciteam.com

At that price I'd consider just paying £8 for a remote unlocking service - google 'v600i sony unlock'.
