Unspecified error

i get this error when i start up my server ( btw i put in my router IP(192.168.1.1) and forwarded the ports )

i think i have to have a static IP but im not sure , can any one please shed some light on this problem ?

He basically means he changed the IP of where the MSSQL reads from. So obviously if the database in on your system that you run the server off then it would be localhost or 127.0.0.1, which ever you want.

Argh i see thanks kill i got my problem sorted with sql 2005 it gives u a tick box on the installation to make every acount/database Admin however this setting did not work so after a while of looking about i found it was not set to admin persmission but now it works fine
