Check the game folder for a folder called .patch-staging that should contain all the files previously downloaded. Copy them all into the base folder and run the patcher again and it should resume.

hey guys, i just wanted to let you know the auto patcher has failed 4 times, it finds an error then deletes all files from out of what its downloaded already, there is also no "sub folder" left after the auto patch has failed.

Yeh, for some reason having intermittent issues with the patcher.

(works fine for me and most people in closed beta)

We going to fix tomorow and upload a full client download at some point also.

Open Beta: Week One Update

The first week of open beta has given us a huge amount of useful data and feedback. Thank you to everyone who has played, tested systems and submitted reports.

The Story So Far

  • 79 players have joined the open beta
  • More than 630 combined player-hours have been logged
  • Over 70% of players have spent more than an hour in-game
  • More than 60% of players returned to play across multiple days
  • Players have submitted over 100 feedback and bug reports
  • The highest recorded player level is currently 23

Why We Held Back on Changes

During the first week, we intentionally avoided making significant gameplay changes.

Keeping the game stable gave us a clean baseline and allowed us to observe progression, session activity, consumable use, inventory behaviour and the economy without updates constantly changing the data.

That observation period is now complete.

What Happens Next?

From this point, we will begin rolling out changes based on what we have learned. Our initial focus will be on:
  • Removing friction from quests and progression
  • Addressing issues reported through the in-game feedback system
  • Refining balance where the data supports it
  • Opening more systems and content for focused testing
Changes will arrive incrementally, and there may be occasional reboots as we respond to issues and deploy updates.

Keep the Feedback Coming

Please continue submitting feedback using the option beneath the minimap. These reports include useful information about your character, location and recent activity, making them far more valuable when investigating problems.

--------------------------

Changelog: 8–14 July 2026

Thirty-four PRs were merged across the code and server-content repositories.

Gameplay and Professions

  • Added A Trade Worth Learning, introducing level-five players to the profession system.
  • Simplified Artificer Lian Bo’s profession dialogue.
  • Made profession-locked recipes visible while continuing to prevent crafting until their requirements are met.
  • Added Warrior spellbook paths through level 40, including Battle Cry, Flame Brand, Glacier Rend, and Sky Flash.
  • Added detailed spell tooltips, player-facing spell names, and exact path-rank descriptions through level 40.
  • Corrected spell mana costs, level-five spell progression, healing targeting, and Chain of Judgment stun handling.
  • Improved quest acceptance and completion feedback, numbered-monster objective matching, quest XP display, and death and respawn handling.
  • Limited item shattering on death to equipped items.
  • Allowed players to attack wild monsters in safe zones while keeping players protected from monster attacks.
  • Added 50 ambient wandering NPCs to Zhenkai-Waves.

Events and Encounters

  • Expanded Cave Conquest configuration with node names, maps, coordinates, hand-in guidance, and HUD tracking.
  • Replaced large event panels with compact, collapsible trackers and detailed three-tab guides.
  • Corrected inaccessible Imperial Assault and Imperial Requisition spawn and patrol routes.
  • Added runtime route validation, bounded spawn retries, fallback spawn anchors, and clearer diagnostics.
  • Added 60-minute breaks between Alpha testing runs of zone events and Cave Conquests.
  • Restored the intended 20% stat scaling for Imperial Requisition event monsters.
  • Added coordinated Whispering Temple Kings Room packs with formations, shared aggression, patrols, leashing, specialist monster AI, and pack-based respawning.
  • Added four five-member spawn compositions, two Kings Room patrol routes, and drop tables for five new monsters.

Travel and Economy

  • Connected 17 Azure, Kazari, and Zhenkai safe zones through warp portals.
  • Set safe-zone portal travel to 2,000 gold.
  • Reduced the guild creation fee from 1,000,000 gold to 1,000 gold.

Interface and Display

  • Moved graphics and display settings into the in-game options window.
  • Added 1536×864 and 1600×900 resolutions with a compact resolution selector.
  • Prevented unnecessary display refreshes when the selected resolution has not changed.
  • Improved text outlines, contrast, and level-label alignment.
  • Added a Bounty tab to the rankings window, including Gold and EXP bounty values.
  • Updated the inventory to use the new vertical frame.
  • Added set progress, equipped pieces, and set bonuses to item tooltips.
  • Improved pathfinding, long-distance map autorun, party markers, chat resizing, viewport clamping, and belt-layout persistence.
  • Updated several interface window layouts.

Maps and Development Tools

  • Updated map walkability attributes to correct inaccessible or incorrectly traversable tiles.
  • Added walkability-audit previews, before-and-after cell outlines, and safer rendering to the Map Editor.
  • Improved the walkability-audit window, map persistence flow, library loading, scrolling, and editor stability.

Stability and Diagnostics

  • Made map-object removal scan cells safely to prevent stale references and removal errors.
  • Protected text rendering from disposed cached fonts and limited DirectWrite cache growth.
  • Added Sentry reporting for saved client errors, including the affected character’s name.
  • Clarified that scheduled shutdown commands use server time.
