Maybe people are just too use to the extremely fast casting and now it's normal your struggling to adapt to it, also don't think 99% of them even knew how fast the casting really was.

People have just gotten too used to being too powerful. Wizzys clearly were this when you consider that probably every other server you have played, 70% of the player count are warriors. On this server, 70% are wizzies.

I played a Wiz for years on Euro with these casting speeds and was fine. The wiz who cant cope with these speeds just need to learn how to. A wiz, even with these speeds, can easily kill any warrior in game because the idea of being a wiz is simple, hit and run. Keep your distance and you will always come out on top.

Casting speeds as they were before didnt force wiz to do this. They could AOE a warrior and then cast other single area spells so fast the warrior had no chance to start running again to avoid being hit. In euro, you had to slow a warrior down with an AOE and you basically had 1 chance to hit him again before he started running again which is as it is now, the right way in my opinion.

I honestly think that if you cant cope with this, youre playing the wrong class. But Ive already said in game, the real question is, is the threat of a revolution enough to change back for the majority of the now wiz community? Probably! Because of this id say meet somewhere in the middle of your own idea of how the server should be and what the players want and slightly re-increase casting speeds, but not as they were before.

*edit* and with PvPing a wiz in my guild with decent MC, I just couldnt get near him even with these official casting speeds because he kept his distance and timed his hits correctly. Wizzys can still fight and demolish a warrior without the need to spam cast, especially if you have a clone to make sure your opponent is always walking.

That's probably more to do with all the market stalls being logged out because of the reboot.

Have changes been made to mob/boss damage?

BDD mobs hitting like trucks now suddenly.

EM instead of being incrementing with the damage it's a straight 600 damage from the first Tier.

It is a shame we didn't catch this bug sooner... If this wasn't like this in the first place then it wouldn't be an issue, but it wasn't and it is...

Yeah, it wouldn't be such an issue because lots of actual taos and wizards would have chosen to level and stick to warrior.

All this crap from the GMs about things being bugs when they have been discussed to death about how wrong they are and reasons for why they didn't change them to how they are suppose to be....

Come on dont tell us you missed TDB and say it wa a bug. You made it clear you didn't want it like it was on euro or other servers.

Cast times aswell you can't say this is a bug you changed this ages ago. Agreeing that it was faster than official. Now you are saying you missed how fast it was?

I loved this server but being Mir it just can't keep my attention for that long so I don't actually play now. But should we really be playing when it is clear you don't actually test anything before you put it into the game? There has to be some NPC bugs that will give you awesome items and extra levels somewhere lol.

Every mistake you have made you have said "this is actually a bug". Just admit you made a mistake trying to rush the patch and changes.

Nothing on your update post states any changes to TU yet not only can't a level 43 wizard TU a spearman now add also a minotaur.
Both were level 41 to TU now casting it on them doesn't even get a reaction.
Why? What is the point of having the skill and you remove the ability of mobs that it can be used on.
Is this server meant to be an advancement on other older versions or worse?

Wizards did indeed have an edge over classes however the change asked by players was the cast speed reduction of FF not the Cast speed reduction of every spell in the game.

You lot make me laugh so bad, carnt handle a more balanced playing field so now you cry and threaten to quit, go play another server then, can guarantee it'll be the same cast time as here, it's already been said, you wizzies have gotten so use to being OP with your cast speeds and clone, now it's more even, you carnt take it.

Because we've not changed TU... So no idea why it's not working...

maybe some of the changes to mobs are universal like cast speed is ie. change 1 mob change them all. there where some changes to mobs levels so something could not be TU'd or tamed im sure of it.

EDIT - in all honesty i cant believe we are 10+ years past euro when was first released and we still can only change all or nothing on the spell cast speeds. did you lot really think this was a good idea when creating the server files/code?

i am surprised you can change DC/MC/SC on items on there own without it being a universal thing lmfao.

Seems like uve made a few booboos samuel, i told ur ass about the cast speed near the start of the server.
for all u moaning wizzies out there, cast speed is like it was on euro, i asked gms to sort out the *delay* u get when u cast a spell on a player and cant move, in responce to this they decided to up cast speed by 50% or somthin, which made wizzies alot stronger, as it is wiz are only strong in pvp when in a no mob environment, the cast speed is fine, its what uve ALL been using on every official server thats ever been out, what u want to takew issue with is the delay when casting a spell on a.player.
You've removed the delay on tdb, bad and good, but now that uve done this you need to change mc/sc damage ratio numbers, cos they are too messed up to stand up to the advantage warrs now have over them, again i posted about this ages ago.

this isnt a moan post, just a few words that might help...or not.
good effort with update, but better luck next time i think

maybe they have worked on an old set of files and then introduced them so lots of things are ****ed from when they where first a problem.

reminds me of SWtoR, every time i had to download something i couldnt play the game for a few days because they would **** the update up.
