Update on what things we've been working on in a consolidated thread (and things that are completed)


Tutorial Quests & Area Completed
you now have access to a tutorial hub prior to the main area, this will introduce you to some of the new features accessible in TPR.

Map Music
All areas have unique music, this has been cut and used for each area to fit its 'ambience' - this is currently in for all maps in our DB going forward, not just the ones on live.

Mob Stats
The first round of mob stats have been done, we expect further tweaks to be made during in-depth testing.

New Subs
We've made sure every area has sub-boss(es) that span across most floors, these are unique skins to each sub boss.

Map Structure
We have 22 Areas fully done for when we go live. (not including Eternia)
We have an additional 8 fully ready just not linked into the main game
and a further 10 ready for future patches

This work was done now to mitigate additional work on our phased content releases.

Map totems have been added for all of the above, including the buffs they distribute and the items required.

What we are doing next...!

We are now making sure our spell structure is how we want it.
We are cutting the bloat of spells and making them more streamlined, have purpose and generally feel great to get levels on.

*You learn spells when you reach the level required to use it.
*Spells have a chance to level when using the relevant spell book
*Spells can get up to level 5
*Spells may not always have the condition of being cast to level them up. (this is to make spell books more worth while)
*Spell Level 4/5 will most likely have conditions that need to be met to unlock them

Certain Spells will evolve as they level.
For example:

Fireball will eventually turn into GreatFireBall, which will eventually change into DragonsRage (level 5)
SoulShield will buff MAC, when hitting level milestones it will also increase core damage stats, AC and even provide an exp buff (potentially...!)

Many spells (but not all) will fall under this umbrella, if 2 spells do the same thing, they will most likely be removed or combined.

nice idea, im currently using some stuff similar to this on my new server
ooo nice!

Got it all in other than the changing spells but shouldn't be very difficult to code that side of things.

When beta
Should be soon, spells are really the last main point to get in for a beta test anyway.

The rest such as card / albums and the like are all cosmetic.
Got a week off from work so will be grinding away at the content :)
