Ive ordered the processor

I sold my FX-57+ 3200+ venice for $$ and I bought an opteron 165 last week. Regretting a little I didn't for a 170 for the higher multiplier though since I got phase.

Ah well im used to a Amd 2100+ XP processor so im sure it will make a massive difference when I get this one .

Price of the processor has gone up to £270, thats + £40 I ordered mine yesterday but I have to either pay the extra or cancel my order. Urban do you still think it is worth me getting this processor ?

If I do its going to take me much longer to get enough money for the other parts lol.

Someone told me something about I will have to get new ram, Dual channel Ram or something, is this true? I thought I could just used my old Ram lol

If I have to buy some new ram I want at least a GB, so urban can you choose me one please, thanks

If you already have DDR400 non-ecc ram then you're fine.
