Build me a PC.

Its for my dad, he uses it genreally, games, downloading, browsing ect.

He will Base unit, monitor (TFT), speakers.

Probably wanting to spend around £1000-£1400.

for that price u could get a stormtrooper of a machine, i shud know cos thats my budget too lol.

look urself for systems based around what im gettin:

Athlon64 X2 4400+ processor,
2gb 400mhz ram,
256mb graphics card (ive gone for the 7800GTX tho there's decent radeon's out there)...
sli compatible motherboard (for geforece gfx, or crossfire compatible for radeon - u never know when u mite wanna get a 2nd gfx card lol-)
200Gb HDD
Audigy Soundcard
Thermaltake Tsunami 500W case

if ur wantin peripherals aswell then mayb you'd need to tone down the spec a little...but a decent 17" tft monitor can be found for as little as 130quid now. and a decent 7.1 speaker system for around 50quid

I'm pretty sure you meant 1GB RAM.

What processor is that? Guessing Intel. If he are play game lot get uber AMD and stuffs.
